AutoWear Works rarely and with significant delay

I'm trying to trigger screens and toasts in AutoWear. If I restart my watch and trigger them directly from the AutoWear app, it works. But if I try to trigger something from Tasker or Automate, it gets stuck. The first one will work and all subsequent ones won't. When in the stuck state even triggering directly from the AutoWear app does not work. After several hours, I'll get a super delayed notification on my watch and it will reset it to the working state until the next Tasker or Automate triggered action.

I have tried restarting the watch and phone, force stopping the apps, clearing data for the apps. uninstalling on both the phone and the watch, rebooting both, and reinstalling. This started after my watch (Pixel Watch 3) was migrated to my new phone (Pixel 8 Pro to Pixel 10 Pro)

I tried turning on system logging but it doesn't say anything really. The most notable thing in the logs is I get "Message Sent" like 2-5 times a second\697106702324a50734a1b5cc.png
