If you have seen the movie Knight and Day where Tom Cruise has gets a Movement Alert on his parents house.
where he has a camera and on detecting movement , he gets a live feed from the camera in front of his parents house onto his phone.

Is such a thing or something similar possible on tasker?
If not a video feed but a picture taken from a phone at my home and sent to my phone?

I don't think that's what the OP wanted. As I understand it, he wants to get a *remote* movement alert on his phone. That is, when he's not at home, his motion activated security camera sends him a live feed to his phone whenever it's triggered on. Of course, if that's the case it would mostly depend on the camera and not on Tasker - easiest way would be if said camera already has an android app for the purpose. Otherwise one that makes its feed available in a web page, in which case he'd need to parse the page with Tasker and do whatever he wants with it and the video feed.

Or I could be wrong and it really is as you thought. :D

Dunno but I don't think he has a security camera I think he wants to use another phone as the camera/motion detector and then have that phone send the feed to the phone he uses as a daily driver. i got that based of the last sentance anyway lol we could both be wrong.

I have saw Knight and Day but can't remember the bit he's on about.

Yes! i do not have a security camera, i wanted to use my spare android phone as a camera instead.
maybe use the proximity sensor or something to detect movement, take a picture, email it to me?

What the hell is a DAILY DRIVER?

Don't say it's just a saying, please define it.

You can't :) That phrase makes me vomit every time I hear/see it...

Just playing around, but there has got to be a better way of saying that someone uses a piece of software or hardware daily.

Haha I'm use to saying it because a lot of cooks refer to there roms as a daily driver once there stable enough to be used on a daily basis. But i guess another way of saying it would be daily basis, lol i dunno potato potata its the same thing :P
