Thank you so much! I had almost believed that I'll have to be stuck with using notification 'action'.

Now I'm facing another issue which I found out while testing.

I have added a Profile as: Event->Notification->Whatsapp (under owner application) & linked it to a task that creates a 'Notify Vibrate'.

PROBLEM: Everything works fine when the 1st notification from whatsapp comes, but nothing works when there are repeated notifications from whatsapp; until the notifications are cleared. ie., My Profile/task only works when there is only one/1st notification from whatsapp.

WHAT I WANT: I want tasker to vibrate & give me notification each time there is a whatsapp message/notification.

(I don't check whatsapp messages as soon as they arrive but can't dismiss the notification as I need them as a reminder to read the messages later on.)

Please tell me what is wrong with my profile etc. Thanks in advance!

This is different from the setup of your initial post, which is deleted (why?) Not very helpful for other users...

Whatever, the problem is not the profile, but the Notify Vibrate, I guess. If you always use the same Title for the notification, it will be updated, but vibrates only the first time. For testing write %TIMES in the text-field of your Notify Vibrate, so you will see the changes. Or use a "normal" notify and an extra action Alert -> Vibrate.

I still do not understand, what you want to achieve finally? You receive a Whatsapp notification and create another notification. Why?

Back then, I was on Lollipop without root but with the irritating 'banner notification' which I just couldn't adjust with. So I made a whole system of notification which solved the banner notification from whatsapp(as I get most notification from there).

I had to use another app in combination with 3-4 tasker profiles with several tasks to make it work like it's a part of the app's own notification system(but without the banner style)

Sorry for the delayed response.
