I'm pretty sure your going to have to create a scene. They are a little bit overwhelming but once you get started you'll pick it up pretty quickly.

Tasker has a built in popup scene but all it does is display information for a set amount of time  (or until you click on it) won't accomplish what you want here.

You can go to the scenes tab (on the default project) you should see one called "Popup" long press it and select clone from the menu. You'll then be asked to enter a name for it. Once you have you'll have a second scene appear in the list. click on it then you can modify it to add the buttons that when clicked set a variable to either "YES" or "NO". then you should be able to key off of that variable to determine if Tasker should launch the app or not.

like i said it takes a little bit to learn your way around scenes.  But modifying an existing scene should be a fairly simple task to get you started.

Try Alert->Popup Task Buttons and set up tasks to handle the OK/Cancel and Yes/No responses.  You can have up to three responses.

Hi!

I'm new at the group, and new also as a Tasker user. I see there is a lot of people here answering newbie questions, and I hope I'll soon be here answering too and helping the comunity.
But for now... I'll ask you some help.

Is there any easy way to ask user for Ok/Cancel or Yes/No? Or must I create a Scene for this?
I want to ask before launching an app (Endomodo) when I enter an area (gym). I managed to create the area and launch the app. But it'd be better to ask first.

Thanks!

Ricardo
