to Tasker
I know that "bluetooth-near" and "2g/3g radio-control" is part off the
future plans for tasker.
I would use it to automate a workaround of the lack of rSAP protocol
in Android. Almost every German car (Merc, VW, BMW) uses this advanced
BT protocol and it is a joy to use, Nokia supports it in almost all
it's phones.
I have a duo-sim card (2 identical sim-cards), one in my HTC-Android
and one in my Nokia (s60).
I use the Nokia in off-line mode (no radio 2g/3g/wifi, but with
bluetooth active, yes very advanced) to connect to my carphone, wich
is working perfectly. When my Nokia/Carphone is connected to the 2g/3g
net, my HTC-Android should disconnect from the net. This radio setting
(2g/3g off) could be toggled when the Bluetooth of my car is near/not
near. The process must now be done manually with Flight-mode on before
using the carphone and then keying the PIN again after my carphone is
disconnected and i leave my car, frustrating.
Even better should be rSAP support for Android, but ik could live with
this workaround.
