Hello,

I want to create a small profile that just launches a specific mp3 on my phone and then opens a jpg also on my phone.

I have the code necessary to launch Play Music and immediately start a playlist so by making a one song playlist for the profile I should be covered on that part.

I found a 2014 post regarding opening an image with an app called quickpic, but those instructions arent working for me yet.

Does anyone have an alternate idea to simply and easily open one jpg with Tasker?

Thank you for reading.

(multi-posting is a bad idea)

What exactly do you mean by 'open'. If you mean 'display', create a scene with an image element,
set it to the location of the image, use Show Scene to display it whenever you want.

Pent, I apologize. I honestly thought asking for code tweak for quickpic, and asking for alternative to quickpic should be two seperate posts. I didnt intend to spam.

I have taken your advice and googled how to import a picture to a scene, that worked fine and my scene exists under the scenes tab. I now have my profile complete, set with the task to launch my mp3 in Play Music, wait 3 seconds, and show the scene of the fullscreen picture of the lovely woman I associate with the song.

Perfect solution, thank you very much for taking the time to help.

Sometimes it's borderline and subjective, so I apologize too :-)
