Hello friends,

I recently (Aug 1st) did my routine software upgrades, including notably upgrading from GrapheneOS 2025061600 (Android 15) to GrapheneOS 2025073000 (Android 16), as well as upgrading to the then-latest Tasker version 6.6.3-beta from the Google Drive for supporters. Well, it was recently, but I found out after some weeks that my mail wasn't delivered to the mailing list, and straightening that out took several more weeks.

After this upgrade a strange issue has started occurring from once every day or two, which never happened before. I have a task configured to post a notification, wait some time, and then clear it. Here is a screenshot showing the task configuration:

This task is triggered hourly by a profile. The point is to periodically tell me (with an audio cue) that I ought to get up and move around. After the upgrade: sometimes, but not always, the notification is displayed and cleared, but the secondary "Running Tasks" notification does not disappear, resulting in it sticking around after the 15-seconds-past-the-hour duration it would normally have. Here is a screenshot of that:

I found the option to disable "Show in Notification" for this task, and disabled that. While that gets rid of the leftover "Running Tasks" notification, there is still a leftover notification, just with no contents at all. Here is a screenshot of that:

Does anybody have tips on how I could resolve this problem?

Thank you,
Radon Rosborough

Thanks, I tried that version, but still see the same behavior. I've attached an updated screenshot, which is roughly the same as before: https://files.intuitiveexplanations.com/u/MIMgLWDGmj51zBjR.png

Apologies if my reply is not threaded correctly; I do not receive emails from the mailing list, and should have asked to be cc'd on replies.

I can't remember how I started a Q&A, but I'll start here.

I'm trying to figure out how I can automate the day and night settings in Android Auto, perhaps and sunset and sunrise, but by time would work too.

Thank in advance for any help.

Just following up on this, as I still haven't been able to find a resolution and would be interested in any advice on troubleshooting.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Are you able to reproduce that at will? Does it always happen, or does it seem random?
