You need to add a new profile for receiving a text.  add profile > first context = event > Phone Category > Received Text - defaults on this should be fine.

 

Then under task selection create a new task, add a new action under the phone action, select Send SMS.  In the number add the Text From variable %SMSRF. In the message add the text you want to send as your auto response.

 

As such you should now have a profile that will send a response to all incoming SMS messages.  You then need to enable this profile only when you're in the car.  There are many different ways of doing this depending on whether your phone actually goes into car mode or not. 

 

If your phone is not in car mode you could create another profile based on bluetooth connected which is in  first context =state > net category.  When you add a task to this profile add an action to enable the profile created above.  Also add an exit task to disable it.  This will mean the SMS response profile is only active when your bluetooth is connected.

Does anybody know how to use a specific app to auto reply? I want to create a task that everytime i miss a call Google Voice sends an auto reply. Any Ideas?

So I want to send an automated txt reply when I receive a text, and a certain app is running. So when I am using Strava, I want to auto reply to any txts that I get that I will contact later.

Long press on the received text context / click 'ADD'

Add a application context and make sure to click the services option.
