After many years of using Tasker without issues, I suddenly can’t set the notification sound via Tasker anymore. It started failing yesterday with an error I’ve never seen before.
Device: Samsung S23 Ultra, fully up to date. No system updates were installed recently, so the issue appeared out of nowhere. I’m attaching a screenshot that shows the exact error.
The only change on my side is that I paired a new JBL Bluetooth speaker shortly before this started. I’m wondering if Android might have reassigned notification audio routes or priorities, causing Tasker to lose access or behave differently. That’s just a guess, though.
I’ve already tried unpairing the speaker, restarting the phone, re-granting all permissions (including Write Secure Settings via adb and Tasker Permissions Portable app), but nothing changes.
Any ideas? I could really use some help on this one.
