Secondary app Event not functioning properly

When I assign the secondary app Event, the Bixby button opens Tasker instead.

When I open the secondary app from my App Drawer it executes the Event Task Action I want it to... Google Assistant, but it won't execute from a button press. Thoughts?

Sounds like you have Bixby set to Tasker instead of Tasker Secondary app. When you open the Bixby key settings in the Bixby app, it should actually show Tasker Secondary App. Is that what yours shows?

Interesting... Although I select the Secondary app, sure enough, it shows Tasker. I also notice the Secondary app in my App Drawer is grayed-out. I have the Secondary app option enabled in Preferences.

Glad you checked the preference setting, I forgot about that. My Tasker Secondary icon is not greyed out in the app drawer but it is a Grey icon with a white background. I'm not sure why Bixby would not show it as Tasker Secondary app though.. mine definitely does.

I discovered the app colors were changed after joao released the how-to video... My icon is correct. Picking why Tasker is being opened instead. For now, I just created an app with App Factory.

Did you maybe have to exit Tasker with the back button to make that stop happening?
