When running tasker, I see the tasker (winamp lightening bolt) icon in
the android notification tray. How can I get that notification icon
to represent the active profile. For example, if I am in the car and
my "car" profile is active I want the car icon to display in the
notification tray (NOT the tasker lightening bolt).

In the following image, you can see that phoneweaver shows the current
profile as a "Sun" icon:

Sorry, if this has been asked before. I've been digging through the
app, user guide, feature requests, forum, walkthoughs, tour, etc.
I've found similar questions, but I haven't found anything that say
"no, that cannot be done" or "yes, it can be done..."

You can hide Taskers icon and have your tasks create a (permanent)
notifcation with a different icon.
If you use the same title for the notification, i.e "Current Profile",
you can clear the notification from other tasks.
Or if you want to use different titles, store the title name in a user
variable.

I've never done this, but I think it should work.

Does doing this affect whether Tasker runs in the foreground?
