importing xml files

 cheers! new to tasker. just started playing. went to the wiki and attempting to import a profile. saved an xml file to /sdcard/Tasker/profiles.  when i attempt to import the file tasker doesnt seem to recognize any xml files in /sdcard/Tasker/profiles.  am i missing something?

ok so i renamed my file   anyfile.prf.xml    tasker still doesnt recognize it.

"Projects = .prj.xml, tasks = .tsk.xml, profiles = .prf.xml

Maybe it's corrupted or not compatible.

yep thiking that it might be corrupt or incompatible.  tried imporitng other xml files and all is well.

ok i'm new to tasker. i'm reading the Beginner’s guide to Tasker   http://www.pocketables.com/2012/08/beginners-guide-to-tasker-part-1-tasker-basics.html  

 
i'm attempting to import the profile "Getlocationposttofile" from the wiki page  http://tasker.wikidot.com/getlocationposttofile

i downloaded the file, renamed it Getlocationposttofile.prf.xml, and saved to  in /sdcard/Tasker/profiles    when attempting to import into tasker i get the followign error message "error: no profile found"

would somebody like to see if there is a problem with this profile, if so fix it.  unfortunately i don't have the skill set yet to figure it our for myself

oh ok; got it. thanks and thanks for pointing out how you were able to determine it's a task.

so i renamed it Getlocationposttofile.tsk.xml, and saved to  in /sdcard/Tasker/tasks    when attempting to import into tasker, tasker crashes and "unfrotunately tasker has stopped". any thoughts?
