Magic packets ? There is at least one plugin you can use with the wake-
on-lan (wol) protocol.

I wasn't too keen on using a separate app. Was hoping I'd find the functionality built into Tasker. I see that the idea is under consideration on your website. I hope it comes to fruition!

I'll probably take it off there actually, I prefer to concentrate on
things
for which there is no easy 3rd Party solution.

Fair enough. The problem though is if these apps stop getting supported in future versions of Android, we'll have a worthless profile and a task that amounts to nothing. :/

I don't, no time and I'm constantly testing so my phone never has a
fixed Tasker config.
