Hello

I'm needing to get tasker on to a phone, and set it to ring if lost.
The user puts it on vibrate or silent which doesn't make finding it
easier. Does anyone have a procedure (please keep it simple) to turn
the phone on to the maximum volume possible and then to start blasting
an alarm, a flashing strobe flashlight would be good as well? This is
on an Android 12 phone.

Thanks.
Dave.

This is relatively simple. You can set media volume levels, and you can play a sound on it via standard tasks.
you only have to pair this as a response to some trigger, like a receiving a text/email/etc with some specialized text in it or from a certain number.
you can even have it reply to the text/email/call with it's geolocation. or a photograph from its current perspective.

Sounds like maybe you're new to tasker, this would be a great starter project for you, but if you don't want to go that route, maybe just install google's "find my device" app. or service, which can do some of those things: https://www.google.com/android/find and/or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.adm&hl=en_US&gl=US

good luck!
