tasker can't detect notifications when running in NOX player

I am trying set up some automated tasks which run in an Android emulator on a PC which is running 24/7. I chose the NOX player (latest version) for the Android emulation as all others I tried had issues. The only problem I have with NOX is that tasker doesn't detect any notifications. I allowed tasker to read notifications in the security settings so this is not the problem.

Can anyone please help me solve this?

Maybe there is a work around by generating an app from my task and use any other app which can trigger an app when detecting notifications? Does anyone know of such an app?

I also tried AutoNotification (jaoapps) but that doesn't work either.
