Try using AutoVoice per methods below. The methods assume AutoVoice works without the google dialog on your device. Confirm this before proceeding.

(1) Create and install a separate "AutoVoiceApp" using Tasker App Factory. It should contain only the AutoVoice Recognize action (hide dialog), and profiles to be triggered by voice. These profiles, internal to AutoVoiceApp, should send simple intents to Tasker. No other ties between AutoVoiceApp and Tasker. Tasker will receive the intents and act upon them. Use regular expressions to filter voice commands.

(2) Make AutoVoice prompts silent (by default) by muting notification volume. Detect notifications in Tasker profiles and play notification sounds out the alarm channel.

(3) Create profiles in Tasker to detect AutoVoice notification created and cancelled. You'll use these profiles to customize what happens while AutoVoice is prompting, e.g. a pleasant sound when prompted. I use an overlay to turn the status bar green during a prompt.

(4) Become an expert at using AutoInput to implement voice commands.
