KWGT Load Preset Is Broken

The KWGT Load Preset function works, but it's uneditable. When I click on the configuration button the screen goes grey for a couple of seconds and then returns to the previous screen. This means if a new widget is created Tasker can't change the contents. I've tried it on Huawei P10 and P30 pro using the latest KWGT release. I've also tried it on the p30 with an earlier release.

The only thing I can say other than take it up KWGT is that in my experience, the display can lock up based on timing between Tasker changing the contents of a widget and the rest of the system updating the display.  I can understand why particular updates of widgets by Tasker would be disabled.
