The labels for the indicators used with the slider element is a tad too small. An option to change the font size would be great

I'm using Lollipop on an Oppo Find 7 via the Nameless ROM

I agree to an extent but would prefer a local variable that is updated whilst the slider is being adjusted that way you could display the changing value in any way you wish.

Yes, that would be even better.

This variable already exists. Check for %new_val variable in Tasker. It is shown when you edit some scene elements (number picker, slider).

This variable is only updated when you let go of the slider.
We want to be able to show the current value while you are dragging.

This is one if my only peeves with Tasker. I have scenes with multiple sliders and can never remember to use my high power magnifying lenses when I use these scenes. There has to be a way to change the slider indicator font size but I haven't been able to find it.

I gave up on making the slider indicators larger. Instead I used a text box below the slider and with activities available in the Scene category I was able to make the text box update in real time as I slid the slider. Not a perfect solution but it works.

How did you do this? I've been digging at it for a bit now...

I did the same and also added 2 buttons + and - to fine set the slider.  I find it difficult to set it to the exact number I like.

To set the slider value to a text box -  in the slider tab 'value selected' add a action variable set.   Set a global variable to %new_val

Then use the same global variable in the 'text' parameter of the text box.

This still only displays the value set once you release the slider. It isn't updating live when you move the thingy.

I'd be inserted in how to achieve this effect as well.

Correct.. I was just responding to the previous posters query.

That is what I added the + - buttons for.  I just get it close with the slider then tap the buttons to fine tune the selection.

I agree it should continually update. This should be added to the new feature request list.
