Using the Alexa Autovoice Smart Home skill will not accept enabling. I also follow Joao's link at the skill's Troubleshooting link (bottom of page), opening in desktop mode, with no success. I am signed in on my Pixel 8a (A14) to my Amazon and Google accounts. Am I missing some "fine point" or could Joao's server be slow in response? Thanks all.

Hi. What error are you getting when trying it? Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

I have had these issues too a couple times.
Try enabling third party cookies in the browser for that site, if possible. That might have been part of the issue for me, in addition to the need to open in desktop mode. Running Pixel 6P.

Brendan M was correct! Autovoice Smart Home link to my Google account was activated after I enabled 3rd party cookies for the "site". Also, thanks Joao for the interaction.

Thanks for the response.
In the Alexa android app, Autovoice Smart Home skill, Enable To Use activation, page opens (tried at both the original landing and the desktop site) to the sign-in instruction site url
requests to select Google sign-in, then appears to accept it, but returns to the original sign-in page (an apparent loop).

Autovoice stopped working for me a short while ago and I have no clue why this happened. But I've now tried to link the app again on my device but as many other have experienced it doesn't work. I can link the skill it on the amazon skill site but not from Autovoice. I've checked and corrected everything that has been said about this problem, like clearing cache, enabling cookies, update to latest versions, etc. etc. But nothing change when it comes to the failed linking of the Autovoice app on the device. I've completely run out of ideas. Do I need it? Well it provides a bridge for controlling things using a bluetooth device that I've successfully used for a few years and that no longer works, so yes I can say I "need" it. So the problem is the same as many others have described: I select Autovoice Devices, tap on the icon up to the right, click OK on the Remote Voice popup, select my account on the next popup, tap NO on the next popup (asking if I want more info) and I'm back to where I started, ie. the Devices display. Can't get any further. :-(
