This is awesome! Too bad it's only for Samsung devices. Great for me, though. :-)

you can also use it on CM9 and CM10 devices of any brand if you create an update.zip and sign it with the CM platform keys..
you can do this yourself or on xda is a modified version for download..

Someone please write a Tasker script to allow unattended TeamViewer QuickSupport sessions! Please! What needs to happen is simply to click on the "Accept" buttons automatically.

Tasker can handle clicking the "Accept" button but I think you have to be rooted. It has been a while since I did this, but you can use the DPAD down and then ENTER.

I find it hard to believe that there are Tasker users who are not rooted :-)  What is DPAD though? I'm certainly willing to give it a try.

Thanks. What needs to happen is that, upon receipt of a remote control request (see below) Tasker needs to execute two right moves followed by select, How would I go about specifying the context though, i.e. the "receipt of a remote control request"?

I used BlueStacks and Autoremote on my Windows pc to send a command to my phone. Tasker on the phone then would launch Teamviewer, do a wait for Teamviewer to start, then do the DPAD Right,Right then ENETER.

Not sure why my yesterday's message got deleted, but I was reporting success. Two Tasked scripts, to bypass the two dialogs did it! Cheers! What's left now is to write a third script to start TVQS in case it accidentally gets closed.

I don't know about you, but my Chrome shows it as deleted: can't find it anywhere on the group website.

Anyway, how would I go about keeping TVQS alive? Methinks that I need to write a Tasker script that starts up TVQS (or moves the focus to it) if both the keyboard and mouse have been idle for 5 mins. or more, and if not already in a remote session. I guess that, push come to shove, I could relinquish the latter requirement, so let's focus on how one would go about specifying that both keyboard and mouse (or any input for that matter) have been idle for 5 or more minutes.

Many thanks!

Alright, so I was successful with my two scripts that handle the two TVQS dialogs required by unattended remote control. The trouble is now that these scripts do not work when the device is locked. Go figure! Any suggestions as to how this could be handled without simulating taps on dialog windows--which is, I imagine, why it doesn't work when the device is locked? Many thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for a beautiful explanation! It works just great.
What I'm curious about though is the you specify numbers after each Profile and Enter commands.

For example: Profile: LoadTVQS (10) What is the (10) for?

or: Enter: LoadTVQS (11)
What is the (11) for?
Do they have some sort of usage for making it to work?

I haven't used the and it works brilliant and I'm a noob when it comes to Tasker.

Thanks again Cristian and Regards

For example: Profile: LoadTVQS (10)
What is the (10) for?

On their device, this is the 10th profile saved that is created within tasker.

or: Enter: LoadTVQS (11)
What is the (11) for?

This represents the 11th task that has been created in tasker for the device.

Do they have some sort of usage for making it to work?

No, not really.

You may need to enable Tasker in Accessibility/Services. Set Tasker to "ON" there, and check if it works.

Yes, that was the first try. Anyway when you choose to detect new windows, tasker asks you to enable accessibility and brings you to the accessibility configuration screen indeed.

Thanks for the effort.

Create a Profile

Profile: Flash Win (103)
Event: Variable Set [ Variable:%WIN Value:* ]

Enter: Anon (104)
A1: Flash [ Text:%WIN Long:Off ]

see what flashes when your dialogs appear and use that as your window label

after that you can disable/delete the profile

The window label seems to be the same   :/

It seems the tasks aren't being executed despite name match (I've checked three times) because my last statement is a "flash" and there is no message.

Also the "Go to home" isn't working... even when launching manually the task.

By the way, If I manually launch the task that flashes the task name, it does properly!!!

Extrange behaviour, but I never used DPAD before. It's the only difference between tasks that don't work and tasks thad do...

Definitely strange: I've moved the flash instruction as the first one and now it flashes properly, so the window name is correct, the tasks start properly... but they can't execute a DPAD.

Is there any special requisite?

Thanks,
Ivan

Things work just fine for me. Again, make sure you have Tasker set to "on" in Accessibility Services, and you should not need any Flash commands or whatever. And also make sure Tasker has root access, otherwise it won't be able to execute any DPAD commands.

You can use the Bypass profiles only if TVQS is loaded and active on the screen. That is why the "LoadTVQS" needs to be run first.

(So far TV have been hesitant to allow remote control via TVQS without someone being physically present and holding the phone. That is why bypassing of the dialogues can be done only by simulating screen taps ... which requires TVQS be active and focused.)

Thank you very much. Great profiles and tasks :)
First I send with AutoRemote just a "hi" message to my phone, then on the phone QuickSupport is started.
Now I connect with my PC TeamViewer to the phone, where automatically the confirm buttons are pressed. Once for the pure QuickSupport, once then for the remote control feature in QuickSupport.

Did it on my SGS4 with german QuickSupport, so I had to adapt the Window Text a bit ("Fernwartung gestatten?" and "Fernwartung erlauben?").
Attached here my ready to use profile (and tasks as well, even when anyway in profile) for the german QuickSupport App.

Need to repeat that the Plugin "AutoRemote" is needed (costs 2.99 eu) or could be done with the free AutoRemote Lite as well, I guess, then has to be changed a bit the profiles.

No need to clarify that this needs TeamViewers QuickSupport App ;)

Good night :)

AutoRemote (click the state in the profile) / Configuration / Event Behaviour checked

Like this, it is only shortly triggered and this must be enough for Tasker to fire the Task.

You need to match the pop-up window text header exactly!
You try with wrong text, that cannot work.
First let it pop-up and read exactly what it is and write this in your window state.

Maybe your display is too small.
But wondersome is that you didnt notice that it was cut!?
If a sentence is cut before it is finish, you can at least notice that
the question mark is missing, especially in spanish, where it is in the
beginning (standing on its head) and then always at the end too!
¿Permitir el control

But anyway, good that you discovered endly :)
