Hello,
I've by mistake pressed "do not show again" button of a Tasker prompt asking for permissions.
Now I'm getting from time to time a "still missing permissions" toast.
How can I fix this?

You don't know which permissions you're missing?

Thank you for your contact.

Sorry no,
But I also filled a bug this morning ("ndroid.app.RemoteServiceException: Context.startForegroundService() did not then call Service.startForeground()
") and your send me a  newest APK  version

The toast didn't appears since I've installed it.

The toast didn't appears since I've installed it.

Re-happened several times this morning
I've found a way  to reproduce it at will, all  I have to do is toggle the "disable Tasker" switch off and onagain
Maybe I should try to restart fresh (backup, clear Tasker app data, restart and restore)?

You can enable permissions in the app settings of your device

Can you try rebooting? Maybe it's this bug again.

I think we(re making progress
Here's what I got after reboot:

I tapped the notification and saw that notification access were *already* granted to Tasker

To be safe I toggle it off then on.

We'll see

If you have that issue again, can you please try with this version

Ok, I'll wait if it occurs then
Right now, after reboot, the issue seem to be fixed (even with toggling enable/disable Tasker)

Just appeared again today

Happened when exporting a task:

That time I've managed to make a screenshot:

I don't have any idea of what is "Have Companion Device" permission

Since I'm still facing this issue, I've submitted a detailed bug report with screen capture using "report issue to developper" menu item.

I forgot: the "have companion device" issue is fixed. After obfuscated investigations I've found it was related to having set a default speech synthesis voice not matching defaut system language (go figure!)

Just the missing "Accessibility access" permission error remaining

Thanks. But is the accessibility Service issue not caused by this issue?

Sorry but I'm still confused: the bug looks like being about setting ringer mode to silent, I havent' been able to find any reference to accessibility
Is there a way to  check if my phone have the issue?
In any case, may I safely ignore the toast without any possible side effect?

That issue happens if you use an action or condition in your Tasker setup which uses the accessibility service. Since Tasker is detecting that its accessibility service is disabled, it's showing that message. :)

That's why I mentioned the Google bug :) It's a bug in Android where it says it's enabled but it's not.

I guess that I'll have to live with it forever then. That's sad.
BTW, could you give the correct link to that bug in the tracker: the previous link was about a different one ("Can't change ringer mode to Silent on Android 9") apparently unrelated with accessibility.

Oh, sorry about that! I can see why you were confused! This is the correct link.
And you should be able to fix the issue simply by rebooting your device...

I'm having the same issue as you. How did you fix it, can you provide a step by step? I don't understand the speach synthesis you mentioned.

Hi, version 26 that you linked to fixed the problem.

I am getting this on two of my three tablets.  Any update on this?  (I am on the beta)

I noticed it after I created app contexts on two of my tablets that are non beta. The tablet on beta does not have the same profile.
