I am having some trouble using secret codes. I am using system intent Action: android.provider.Telephony.SECRET_CODE, data is my desired code, ex 34777 (Project Fi Switch to Sprint). The task fails with 'Send Intent: permission denied by Android'. Tasker has root level permissions, confirmed using Magisk. My research suggests Tasker also needs , android.Manifest.permission#CONTROL_INCALL_EXPERIENCE in order to succeed. I believe this needs to be added into the AndroidManifest.xml prior to compile. If anyone can provide some additional insight I would really appreciate it.

Thanks
Dave

You should try sending the intent with the Shell Command action with the root action enabled :)
