After the latest update, I now see the Alarm icon in my status bar.  I did not see this before.  It is very annoying.

You can disable that by going into Preferences and disabling Reliable Alarms.

Thank you for your contact.

Tasker: customize/automate anything on your phone!
AutoApps: add advanced functionality to Tasker via plugins

Thanks.  I guess the defaults have changed.  I never had to change this setting before.

Yeah, I change that default because a lot of people were having issues with it off :) Glad it works!

ARGHHEHGHEHFHAFASHD!!!!!

I finally tracked this down using
adb shell dumpsys alarm
and found Tasker with an alarm at the same time as the new phantom "next alarm"
It was driving me crazy!!!!

Joao, Can you be more specific as to the reason for the change, and can you explain the options (esp When Off)?

Thanks!

The reason is that if that option is off, time based profiles will work with a delay or sometimes not at all when the screen is off. That's the only way to guarantee that they'll run on time.
