Tasker profile exchange on XDA

I just found this:

I know there are many (for example in the Nexus one), but this thread
is in the main Android forum which is better.

Pent (Tasker developer) might like to use this Google groups, but to
be honest ... XDA forum is much better:

- Allow attachment
- Allow text color / highlight / formatting
- Better navigation

So, please people! Share your ideas there.

And Pent could link that thread to the Tasker homepage / Wiki :)

Well, I don't know about "better" but it's another place. Maybe the
mods at XDA can combine them or something. There's at least 2 if not 3
(or more?) threads.

Overall, though, I agree -- a real forum with attachments and such
makes it easier to exchange tasks and profiles and such.

I agree that a forum using real forum software would be preferable. OTOH Pent has got his hands full ATM so another forum change is likely to be a very long way off.

I don't think there's any reason for Pent to change anything -- it's
up to us. OK, maybe Pent might point a couple of the links on his
dinglisch.net at XDA but that's about it. Bug reports and error
discussions should stay here. And maybe someone who';s active here do
a little policing of the XDA forums.

Well, I'm the OP there, so I try to monitor the thread and shut down
dumb posts and answer what questions I have... However anything
complicated I suggest people come here so Pent and other people
smarter than me can answer ;)
