Itis just sad, that no additional information is being given regarding this incident, even after more then 2 weeks.

We need to no, if it is save to keep production systems at 1.99 with no obvious symptoms, or if it is recommended to revert to 1.98. Or if reverting to an older version is not recommended at all.

There is no requirement to downgrade any console that has already successfully updated to V1.99. If the updater has completed successfully this will be announced at the end of the firmware update process before the console restarts.

Multi-surface capability with gain tracking allows up to four independent dLive surfaces to control a single MixRack, opening new possibilities for installed and touring systems, including front of house/ monitor splits, sidecar mixing and Surface redundancy. V1.6 also adds support for the recently launched range of dLive hardware for installed sound, including the compact DM0 MixRack, GPIO interface, IP1 wallplate controller and new DX expanders, hubs and modules for flexible I/O distribution. The new firmware also enables Internet access to dLive systems for remote control and diagnostics.

Allen & Heath has released a further firmware update for its flagship dLive mixing system. Version 1.8 adds features including Mix Control Association (MCA), Talkback Groups, and a new OptTronik processing plug-in.

Mix Control Association bringing the convenience of DCA groups and spills to monitor engineers, enabling simple control over multiple Aux/MTX sends via a single fader. This update further improves ease of control by introducing A/B/C/D inputs, enabling up to four input sockets to be assigned to every input channel, and provides fast and seamless selection of sockets via softkeys for rapidly switching to a backup microphone, or to pre-recorded files on a playback system.

The addition of 12 assignable Talkback Groups, which can be populated with any combination of the available mix buses, simplifies talkback routing with softkey controls enabling engineers to quickly switch between different talkback destinations such as musicians, technicians or other production staff.

With the upcoming release of dLive V1.7 firmware, engineers can monitor supported Shure wireless systems without leaving the mix position. All essential wireless information, including mutes, signal level and battery bars, is visible from Bank screens, allowing simultaneous monitoring of multiple channels. Selecting the Preamp tab on an individual wireless channel reveals more granular information, including RF frequency, device name and peak indicators. Receiver gain and mutes can also be controlled direct from the dLive touchscreen, or from a laptop running dLive Director software. dLive systems auto-detect any supported Shure wireless systems on the same network.

Allen & Heath has announced dLive V1.9, the largest firmware release in the history of their flagship dLive mixing system, drawing on feedback from engineers across the live sound, recording, streaming and installation markets.

The extensive feature list for V1.9 also includes preamp sharing with automatic Gain Tracking across multiple dLive systems, LCR+ Main mode with divergence control, screen bookmarks, new screen widgets, and much more. dLive V1.9 is available now: www.allen-heath.com/dlive- v1-9
