In some use cases where number of tasks (cards) are very high (e.g. a
few weeks of intensive bugfixing) a taskboard can become unclear. A lot
of cards in the last column (done/in production) can expand rows making
those lower hard to use (long distant to drag and/or invisible from
left/top corner). They are not needed to be shown all the time, but
should not be removed from taskboard (e.g. can come back after tests on QA).
It would be very usable to be able to hide specific cards. I have two ideas:
1. Ability to hide entire column. Simple "minimize button" to fold a
column. All cards from that column would not be rendered. Should be
easier to do.
2. Ability to hide cards with given tag(s). Additional state in tag
filtering menu (hide).
What do you think about that? Maybe you have any better way dealing with
a lot of cards on one taskboard (which cannot be simple split on more
taskboards)?

I'm not sure if 'minimizing' column would be clear and useful for
users. But hiding cards based on tags is an interesting option.
Right now the only feature that can help your life a bit is 'Zoom'.
If you want to see the row that is hidden because of the number of
cards it may be useful to zoom out (make cards smaller). And then zoom
back in to view more details when needed.
On the other hand...
Maybe it's not a problem of the taskboard application, but of your
development process that you have so many cards in your columns? ;)
Thanks for using taskboard and sharing your experiences.
