I used "topdown) for the local worshippers had no say. They were not consulted. To say they were represented! Who selected the representatives? Presbytery, not the local people!!
I struggled with what happened on Sunday for 2 days & nights. Then i decided to let the boss know how i felt. At the end, i wrote this, "I thanked God that my grandchildren & their parents were not at church to hear what you said!"
I thank God everyday that i married a man & we had 2 beautiful children. And i'll continue to thank God that my son married a woman & my daughter married a man to make me a grandmother of 14 grandchildren & one great grandchild!! With the ups & downs, my family has a future generation/s! Praise God!
What will be a future like of a Church who blesses same sex unions? The superanuations the Church pay their clergys most likely will go to IVF programs! I will pause here to go and watch my 21 year old grandson who is happily dating a girl!
