OBSA 2025
(1) here are some of the "dreams" from the "Navigating theological studies in Pasifika" session on Friday morning
(a) students: consider a stream in future OBSA events set aside for students, to which lecturers & elders are invited to attend and listen
(b) women: be intentional with making space for and empowering local women to be involved in OBSA, and to publish
(c) youth: invite, encourage, and "given them the mic"
(d) break down barriers and constraints that are enforced by culture, church, academy
(e) leave tomorrow for tomorrow; focus on today
(f) put words & thoughts into action
(g) embrace voices and cultures of people not yet in the room (e.g., from Tuvalu, Kiribati, Vanuatu, etc.)
(h) account for diaspora realities & identities (e.g., FOBS, remigrants)
(i) be visible in youthful spaces (e.g., high schools)
(j) more interactive, focused but flexible talanoa sessions
