Live life your way: Technology to Age in Place
Kiran Joshi is co-founder at Palo Alto based Totemic, a startup with funding from Lightspeed, Y Combinator and Khosla ventures working to empower every person to live independently for their entire life. By combining state-of-the-art technology with empathy and true human connection, Totemic wants to help keep people safe, independent, and connected in their own homes.
Kiran earned his degrees in Electrical Engineering at Oklahoma State University (undergraduate) and his PhD at Stanford University.
Kiran will give an overview of Totemic’s technology and Totemic's vision to enable the over 50 million older adults in the United States to age as they want, while giving their families the peace of mind that everyone is safe and healthy.
