Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.92.145.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All that has been released
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure how it can be reproduced
What happens when the bug occurs? In a few households of our save file, the couple can never reach soulmate status. They get stuck on Lovers. We tried relationship cheats to have Soulmate manually added but it still shows the symbol of Lovers and also states this in the sim profile.
What do you expect to see? I expect to get soulmate status on all sims that maximizes their relationship meter.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I had to use testingcheats on and then modifyrelationship [Sim1FirstName] [Sim1LastName] [Sim2FirstName] [Sim2LastName] X LTR_Romance_Main and set their romance to 100. After that they achieved soulmates.
This is still not working?!
move tried everything I could think of and in this game I do not use cheats! Can we get a friggin update or something? First it was the sims not using the sinks next tot he toilet and that took forever to get fixed and now this? Come on..
I am having this issue with only one couple out of all the households I play. This couple has friendship and romance bars maxed out, they are girlfriend/boyfriend, best friends, smitten with each other, yet the game shows them as Acquaintances (seeing their profiles from both Sims's perspectives) .

The moment i put it on Isabella Monty, i knew i needed this dress for all my sims 2 matrons (specially her), so here we're now. The dress comes in all the original 20 colours, a swatch is included with the download. The dress comes for Adults and is enabled for Elders and is categorised as Everyday, Formal and Maternity.
Hi and sorry for the late reply! I'm so happy you're asking because they are my favorite family/game ever. I would love to play it again but the files got corrupted so I don't think I'm able to salvage it.
I'm actually currently playing the sims 2 but a modern game and without any cc whatsoever. I do really want to start a historical sims 2 game again because it's much more enjoyable for me to play than the sims 4 which is so heavy all the time because of the cc.
It's been over a decade since I started The Sherwood family save but if I remember right I began playing it from the 1910's but I wasn't really historically accurate with it so there might've been different fashion styles with different sims. I took inspiration for some of the characters from the miniseries The Forsyte Saga which I love.
I wasn't particularly accurate with the titles either, but before I began I did try to search on wikipedia how the different titles were inherited down the generations and which were higher than others. Here's one such page: _of_England
And lastly I didn't play by any particular rules or challenge rules just took inspiration on what I had learned about the social etiquette etc. from different tv shows and movies and books that took place during the edwardian period. I played mostly for my own pleasure so I didn't want to be to restricted.
Absolutely in love with your sims 2 aristocratic mansions!! Will you consider sharing them for download? I play an Edwardian neighborhood as well, but my estates are nowhere near as beautiful as yours!
Hi! Do you mean this one? I think I took the blog post/download link down some time ago because before that when I moved around some files on my simfileshare.net I accidentally deleted it and couldn't find it anymore. But today when I was looking for a different cc file I found this tent's files on my mediafire which I think was the same one (I've converted so many Skyrim tents and it's been so long I can't even remember anymore for sure.)
Hi! Unfortunately I had many people reporting problems with them that I couldn't seem to be able to fix so I had to make them offline. Hopefully I will have time to try it again as I've received similar questions/requests for them.
Hi! On top of my head I can't remember creators who make solely 18th century/rococo style cc, as in my experience there are several different simmers who have done at least some. So the way I go about searching them is simply googling what I want to find for example "sims 4 rococo hair".
Hi! I'm not sure yet, (I actually had to take a long pause from the game again and haven't even played with infants yet) but probably in cases I can't find anything specific for my challenges etc. from other creators so I will make them myself
Hello and sorry for the late reply! I unfortunately have no current plans to do so but if you haven't checked out @simverses blog yet I recommend looking at the many beautiful things they've made for infants. You can find them here:
hey, i just wanted to say thank you SO MUCH for all of your medieval cc! i'm writing a book set in medieval times (fantasy ofc) and part of my writing process is building some of the settings/making some of the characters in the sims, and your stuff is AMAZING! it's so helpful! i honestly can't believe it, you're srsly so talented. can't wait to get to one of my later books (set in a dif time period) so i can use some of the non-medieval stuff you have lol, it all looks so awesome. thanks again!
Hello and sorry I don't know if you'll see this as it has been a while but I was trying to download the Le Pouf Rococo Hair however the link no longer works. I was wondering if I may be able to get an alternate link?
Hey! Simfileshare is down and has been for like almost a day in my time zone. I was wondering if you have already put your cc into something like MediaFire or Dropbox which is an alternative to Simfileshare.
Hello and sorry for the long wait for an answer! I didn't know simfileshare has been down but I think it is now running again (at least I was able to use it today without a hitch) If there are larger problems with it in the future I might consider creating an alternative place but because I have so much cc it would be a big task right now to upload them somewhere else and share the links to my blog.
Hello! Sorry for the long wait for the answer. I've recently started playing it again and have just moved to the 2nd stage (of 10) so I'm still making some things up as I go so I will post the rules a little later once I've laid them down more firmly. Hope that's okay!
I'm past the point of accepting that Sims 4 is, for the most part, a vehicle for microtransactions. It simply is what it is. Now I'm just happy that other people are enjoying the creative process of dressing up their Sims or designing their dream homes, even if that comes packaged at five quid per pop of pixels. If we didn't draw the line at horse armour, we've no reason to complain now.
In a fun move for Sims fans, EA recently offered the opportunity for the community to vote on its next kit, a batch of items and clothes to add to your collection. At first glance, this seems like a cute way to get community input. But, because we're all on social media, lines have already been drawn.
Pastel lovers are being tempted with a "rainbow core style", a "playful aesthetic featuring nostalgic, youthful designs, and pops of color". They're posed like the freeze-frame ending to a '90s movie, the kind that has important lessons to give me about the power of friendship and being yourself.
Below them pose a trio of cool-kid goths who look like they're about to wax poetic about how pointless homework is. "Do you grow nauseous at the sight of a bright pink sweater?" asks EA, directly below a drawing of a stylish goth whose chunky coat I actually want to own in real life.
It's a smart marketing strategy by EA, slamming the community with a one-two punch of nostalgia and tribalism, pitting counterculture rebels against pastel preps. While I'm always cautious about how out-of-hand these things can get, I'm all for a little competition in good sport.
Less divisive are the building options, which are either medieval or high-tech. I don't think we'll be attaching personal identities to living in a castle or a spaceship until the invention of time travel. Still, if you enjoy getting your Sim builds just-right, you'll have plenty of simoleons in the game.
