Using /qb made no difference. Since the offending installer is part of Revit, I can likely get around this by removing Revit from the suite.Revit is NOT a part of Product design suite, so that would explain why I did not see the same issue with that package. However, I need to verify that our faculty would not be using it. Unfortunately, I am fairly certain they were asking for it to be included.
I saw on other threads that AutoDesk employees would chime in on threads and I was hoping for the same here. Since we went from paying $70K per year for our campus licenses to the free educational model, support is much more difficult to acquire. Our licensing guy has lost the ability to generate license files for our server and is having no luck getting that taken care of either.
To solve the problem with the "Autodesk Revit Extension for Autodesk Fabrication" installation you can extract the files from "Autodesk_Revit_Extension_for_Autodesk_Fabrication_2017.exe" manually then execute the setup. There you can also create a deployment.
