Asspeed freak says, you can get a masterball in the lottery but it is VERY unlikely. You increase your chances by trading more since it's based on the trainer numbers of your pokemon. The more OT numbers you have in total the higher chance of winning prizes.

Though you can get it in the lottery, I would just get it by trading for a pokemon on the gts holding one. You can also migrate a pokemon holding one and then restart the game and repeat yourself, but that would take a long time. Otherwise you could use the action replay, but those can mess up your game, so I would refrain from using one.

Another method of getting more Master Balls (or any other item for that matter!) is through the "Cloning glitch" in Pokemon Emerald. You go through a process to clone five Pokemon each time at the Battle Tower in the Battle Frontier. When given items, the cloned Pokemon will also bring duplicated items as well!

**Note that only the five Pokemon stored in your PC will be cloned, and not the sixth one in your party. Also be sure to have three of the five Pokemon eligible for participation in battle, although you will not have to battle.*

you can get three:

one get from prof. elm after getting eight gym badges

two win at the lottery

three giovanni gives you one after defeating him in tohjoh falls (requires event celebi)

hope this helped!

Black 2 and White 2 introduced Pokestar Studios, where you could battle in unique encounters and star in your very own movies. Some of these battles included special opponents and even set props, like Brycen-Man, Majin, a UFO, and even a Black or White Door.

However, all these enemies are also technically glitch Pokemon. They can only be accessed through the aid of cheating technology. But once unlocked, they can be encountered randomly in the wild, like usual Pokemon, and can then be caught and used in battle.

DPBox is a universal generation four glitch Pokemon. It always appears as a Shiny, male Normal-type Pokemon, with the cry of a Bulbasaur, and no apparent sprite. The easiest way to access it is through using the Pomeg Glitch in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

If used in a Single battle, DPBox has no moves of its own, and you'll need to run away, or switch Pokemon if in a Trainer battle. If DPBox is the only useable Pokemon in the team, you'll black out after its turn ends. In a Double Battle, though, DPBox can use Struggle to fight. It can also walk behind you in HeartGold and SoulSilver, appearing as a regular Bulbasaur, but talking to it will crash the game.

oEeAi is a generation three glitch Pokemon, found only in FireRed and LeafGreen. To access this glitch Pokemon, you need to trade a Pokemon affected by the Pomeg Glitch from Pokemon Emerald, to either of the two games. The traded Pokemon will have what the game considers "negative" health, and when a healing item is used on said Pokemon, oEeAi will appear.

oEeAi can't be viewed in your party, and only has a battle sprite, which consists of a plain, cream-colored square. It has the same cry as Bulbasaur, doesn't have any known moves, and is of an unknown type. oEeAi, if sent out into battle, will cause the game to lock up, though the effects can be reversed by doing a soft reset.

? is a universal generation three glitch Pokemon. It's only accessible through use of cheating devices in Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, and LeafGreen. However, a sub-glitch of the Pomeg glitch, known as "Glitzer Popping", can allow you to obtain the Pokemon without a device in Pokemon Emerald.

? is a relatively stable glitch Pokemon. Its sprite is a floating question mark, and has the same cry as the Pokemon Unown. It has the same base stats as Deoxys, but no Ability, and no gender. It appears as a Normal-type Pokemon, can only know the move Tackle, and can evolve into another glitch Pokemon known as "Bad Egg". While stable, it can't be transferred to any generation four games.

Glitch Egg appears as a normal Egg sprite, both in battle and in your party. It has no base stats or typing, but can still be used in battle, and has its own glitchy Pokedex entry. If used in Gold and Silver, though, the battle will instantly end, and you'll be sent to a glitch dimension. In Crystal, however, Glitch Egg can fight normally, using only Struggle, but it can't be healed if it faints.

LM4 or 7g is a generation one glitch Pokemon, with the former being in Red and Blue, and the latter being the Yellow equivalent. Both variants can be accessed by using the Time Capsule Exploit on Croconaw, or by using the Mew glitch on a Pokemon with a special stat of 198. Trading between Red or Blue to Yellow changes LM4 to 7g, and vice versa.

a/44Hy is another generation one glitch Pokemon. a is the Red and Blue variant, while 44Hy is the Yellow variant. a and 44Hy can be accessed by performing the Mew glitch on a Pokemon with a special stat of 192 in Red, Blue, and Yellow. 44Hy can also be accessed by using the Time Capsule Exploit on Bayleef in Pokemon Yellow.

a is a Water-type Pokemon, while 44Hy is a Water-Psychic dual-type. a's sprite is a column of glitched characters, while 44Hy's sprite is a glitched graphics box. a cannot evolve, while 44Hy has a split evolutionary line. It can either evolve into the glitch Pokemon Q at level six, the glitch Pokemon Female Sign at level 201, or the glitch Pokemon Glitch CA at level 236.

'M/3TrainerPoke$ is a generation one glitch Pokemon, with 'M being the Red and Blue variant, and 3TrainerPoke$ being the Yellow variant. 'M can be accessed by using the Old Man glitch in Red and Blue. 3TrainerPoke$ can be accessed in Yellow by evolving another glitch Pokemon, p.

'M is a Bird-Normal dual-type Pokemon, and 3TrainerPoke$ is a Glitch-Normal dual-type, with the same cry as Zapdos. 'M's sprite is the same as another glitch Pokemon, Missingno, while 3TraikerPoke$'s sprite is a glitch column. Both Pokemon have a split evolutionary line, evolving into either a Kangaskhan or Clefairy. 'M creates a duplication glitch on the sixth item in your bag, and can corrupt Hall of Fame data, while encountering and defeating 3TrainerPoke$ can crash the game.

MissingNo appears as a Bird-Normal dual-type in Red and Blue, or as a Normal-999 dual-type in Yellow, and has the cry of a male Nidoran. It has several possible sprites, with Yellow's being a single, glitched graphics box. Red and Blue's MissingNo can appear as a glitched column, the generic Ghost sprite, the Aerodactyl fossil, or Kabutops fossil, depending on what you input as your name. Like 'M, MissingNo causes an item duplication glitch on the sixth item in your bag.

One big difference Gen 5 made was that TMs had unlimited use. Which was a godsend. Meanwhile, for Gen 3 games it has also been figured out how to implement it. Pretty simple hex edit really if you know how to follow instructions.

But I've seen nothing of the sort of Gen 4 games. Naturally they aren't as easy to hack as Gen 3 games afaik. So I'd assume it won't just happen by snapping your fingers. Yet I don't see anything about it at all. Like no one is even giving it a thought to implement the unlimited use of TMs in Gen 4 games. Has nobody tried this yet or they have and given up?

From a non-hacking perspective it's such a small thing that changes a lot. So it would be great if it could be implemented in Gen 4 games too and not just Gen 3 games.

Mostly because I don't really care much for the gen 3 style games.

If I were in dire need of unlimited TMs, I would edit my save with PKHeX. Using PKHeX, we are able to edit the count field of TMs in G4, specifically. You can only set the amount to 99; It is obviously not unlimited, but it gets the job done.

I honestly always used the item cloning glitch that was present in the JP release of Diamond and Pearl. It was fixed for the international releases, but it was definitely a life saver. You would get into a double battle with a pokemon with thief, and a ditto holding the item you want cloned. Have ditto transform into anything. Once ditto is transformed, use thief on the ditto, and you should have a copy of the item at the end of the battle. ((IIRC, it's been several years since I've done this method))

I think others would just use the GTS method, but I could never successfully time that right. But, that method is dead as far as I know since the DS wifi was discontinued.

Though, if you're willing to run an edited rom to have unlimited TMs, there's really no reason to not give yourself 99 of each of the TMs with PKHex. It would be nice to have it by default, but PKHex is fast and reliable.

Which I assume uses offsets for the French SS as that's the base Mind Crystal uses...?

Anyway, I'm unfamiliar with ASM hacking so I don't know how to get any further than this. I can sidestep the issue by just giving the player x999 of each TM when they receive it if need be but it definitely isn't as tidy.

I'd be more interested in how to do it on Platinum myself but any knowledge is useful. If anyone knows how to get further with this it'd be much appreciated.

Skyrim Special Edition is full of powerful and exciting items that players can craft and use on their journeys in the game. However, doing so requires players to have certain rare ingredients and crafting items that are hard to find. Players are most likely to find only one or two of an item required at a given time and have to wait a long time until they find more.
