Hello everyone:

Great interview by Dr. Hughes on the radio this morning. He did an excellent job describing the plight of peole living with Sickle Cell Disease not only in Africa but also in the United States. He also discussed the purpose for the race and his vision for TARRACE and the continent of Africa. We wish Reggy and Tamba God speed as we follow their maiden journey.

Good Luck Brother!!! Wish you safe travel across the Motherland. Greetings to the family in Senegal and The Gambia.  Tell Mom and everyone I miss them all.  Travel Safe, Keep the Spirit High and the Vision and Mission of The African Cultural Exchange.  Good job Ebou for getting things in The Gambia and Guinea Bissau in place and for the continuous updates.  Thanks to all the volunteers and for the support received across both here in the US and Africa. TERRACE will raise awareness of social issues affecting the whole of Africa and hope one day in the near future, we will all come together with a solution.  Tamba Johnny, enjoy the trip, and I would like to hear about your experience.

Safe trip.
