We arrived safely in The Gambia this afternoon after only one near-
miss at the Senegal/Gambia border. (Taxi driver drove-off with one of
our bags. He was tracked down and the bag was recovered)

Tracking Data: 1. Departure Time Dakar Senegal 05:50 GMT
2. Arrival Time Banjul, The Gambia 15:10 GMT

Had a very productive meeting with The Gambian Sickle Cell Disease
Association, Mr. Lamin Demba and Mr. Andrew Sambou.

We will overnight in Penyem village and depart for Guinea Bissau in
the early am tomorrow.

You can reach us by telephone in The Gambia at: 011-220-732-2163

Stay tuned.
