Members of the public can submit testimony to the County Council ahead of time in several ways, can watch or listen to meetings, and can sign up to offer spoken testimony at meetings. There are no restrictions on using the tools available to members of the public.
Online testimony can be submitted by clicking on one of the buttons below and filling out the resulting form. Please be careful when selecting a bill or resolution number from the drop down list to ensure it is the specific piece of legislation on which you wish to submit testimony.
The online testimony tool allows you to submit written testimony of up to 250 words that includes your contact information and the specific bill or resolution or other subject at issue. You may also attach files that exceed this limit. Any testimony submitted online is received and reviewed by the entire Council as it is submitted.
Legislative testimony submitted using the online tool must be submitted no later than 11:00 A.M. on the day of the meeting that the bill or resolution will be heard. View the full meeting schedule. After 11:00 A.M., legislation being heard that day will no longer be available in the online testimony tool. Testimony submitted using the "Invite to Audience" tool may not be on a bill or resolution that is on the agenda for a specific meeting.
Members of the public can now register ahead of time to testify in person during the Invitation to Audience portion of the meeting and any public hearings on legislation. Online registration to testify closes at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. A final call for testimony will be made just prior to the conclusion of each public hearing held during the meeting. Please note, spoken testimony will be limited to 2 minutes per person for each opportunity to be heard.

We have a team of volunteers who produce a weekly livestream of the Sunday 9:30am & 5:30pm Mass, in addition to Christmas, Holy Week, Easter and other Masses throughout the year. We are also available to livestream your wedding or a funeral.
Many wedding couples and families have found great comfort and joy by offering this Livestream service to their friends and family who want to watch from afar. We use a very reliable streaming service which works all over the world, and on all mobile, tablet and desktop devices. Because the Livestream system is maintained by a volunteer ministry, we are able to offer our services at a reduced cost. And while this does not replace the cinematic quality of a professional videographer crew, our service is a great alternative. High Watch currently provides a remote access online AA meeting every day of the week. This way friends and alumni can still get the recovery they need from the comfort of their own home. It is important to stay connected despite social isolation, and we must work together to protect our sobriety.

I have been engaged in the process of recovery since 1987. In 2001, I relapsed and found my way to High Watch, lost and in need of treatment. I felt the spiritual energy on the Hill of Hope the moment I arrived. My experience at the farm transformed my life for the better. It is filled with amazing people who really understand the disease of addiction and taught me everything I needed to know to recover again and lead a productive and peaceful life. And that is exactly what I did.
Andrew loves spending time with his wife, Mimi Rivard, an award-winning nurse practitioner serving specialized populations, and their three children, Simone, Andre, and Derara. In his spare time, Andrew rides his road and mountain bike at ever-decreasing speeds and distances, and cheers on his three children, who all play soccer!
Tami-Jo has worked in the behavioral health field and with individuals in crisis in residential and outpatient settings. Currently, she is the VP of Clinical Services at High Watch Recovery Center in Kent, CT.
She has completed her advanced level of training in Somatic Experience making her an SEP, and is certified as a Level I IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapist. Additionally, she is a certified trainer in Sociometrics and has been training with Tian Dayton for three years in Psychodrama. Tami-Jo has completed 200 hours of specialized trauma training through Spirit to Spirit to become a Certified Trauma Therapist. Other certifications include; Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Suicide Prevention, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and as a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Victim Advocate.
