The executive secretary for the Town of Duxbury just called to inform us that the Massachusetts Historical Commission has advanced the scheduled date for the hearing on the Duxbury Historical Commission's application for Tarkiln to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The new hearding date is June 10 2009.
The previous hearing date was in September.
This designation, if awarded, may have some bearing on the procurement of materials and services for the partial restoration project.
