The film is directed by Anurag Singh (associate director of films like Dhoom 2, Koyla and Karan Arjun) and made his directorial debut with Raqeeb in 2008. Anurag has presented the emotions of Cricket in his movie. The director feels that in Punjab people say hadippa when they are very happy and that is the film is all about. Being happy with emotions. The film is based upon a girl who is mad about cricket and wants a berth in the men cricket team.
