Hare signup sheet: Let's do it!

Greetings, Fellow hashers!

We’re beginning the 2026 hare recruitment online, so now’s a great time to plan ahead—even if it’s just penciling in a month with a “TBD” for the weekend.  

We know plans shift, and it’s tough to predict exact dates this far out. 

Flexibility is realistic and totally okay. 

Our goal is to make early sign-ups feel low-pressure and approachable, giving prospective hares a relaxed starting point for next year’s planning. 

Attached is a copy of the hare signup sheet for 2026.  

Yes, this is what I had planned to pass around at Saturday's Hybrid hash - but there was so much merriment, I was distracted beyond belief.  

As Mr. Cream Jeans and I were driving home that evening, I was bewildered by the oversight but was determined to make good on passing the form around virtually, sending it to all of you via the listserv. 

Not to mention, this form will be passed around at the next hash.  But surely, some of the time slots will be claimed by then!

So, here it is - the sheet offering the opportunity to hare next year!

We have hares for January and May, so what are you waiting for?  They have set the example, so now we can follow suit.   I will discuss a date with my partner Mr. Cream Jeans this evening.
