Preface: We’re circulating the 2026 hare time slot form this year, so now’s a great time to start thinking ahead—even if it’s just penciling in a month with a “TBD” weekend. We know plans shift, and it’s tough to predict exact dates this far out. Flexibility is expected and totally okay. The goal is to make early sign-ups feel low-pressure and approachable, giving prospective hares a relaxed starting point for next year’s planning.
Attached are copies of this year’s schedule as it is now, and the signup form for 2026. You’ll see that Big Box and Jerkules have already taken the initiative and signed up for January. They have set the example, so now we can follow suit. Thanks and On-On, Lickety Spit

and the end of Daylight Saving Time, we’ll meet-up at 1:00 PM, with pack-off at
1:30 PM.

Directions - How to Get There (with link to Google) Open hyperlink and click the “Directions” button on the bottom right of the map. The next page sows the destination – bottom field; just add your starting point to the top field (starting location). It’s that simple!
The hash meetup location is about 1 mile from HWY 55 and Sedwick Road.
Dogs: We are big fans of your four-legged furry companions, but this household already has one. Please leave your dog at home.
Walkers:
1) If you can, bring technology on trail with AC's address
2) Use Buddy System with other Walkers
3) If there's a sweeper, don't lose the sweeper!
Wordz from da Hares: It's National Grouch Day. Come celebrate with a couple of grouches. Parkwood has been over-hashed since the mid-90s. AC and BPD are going to have to get creative to provide some virgin territory. Will they succeed ? I doubt it. Trail is A to C (haha see what I did there).
It is the first day of NC Gun Hunting Season in the Central Zone (which happens to include Durham County). This is not a joke. Wear bright-colored clothing (Blaze orange) so as not to get mistaken for Bambi.
Things to Remember:
Be prompt! We aim to start soon after the meetup time. Hares can set the maximum pack-off time.
Travel Tip for Hashers from Afar: Whether you’re crossing county lines or navigating winding roads, plan ahead! Allow plenty of time—the route may be unfamiliar, and we’ll start soon after the meetup time. GPS is your friend… and so is punctuality.
Bring a bag with comfy clothes and dry footwear for the Après, plus sunscreen, bug spray, or anything else you might need.
Got a lawn chair? Bring it! We have some seating, but more is always welcome.
