Kia ora, Fellow hashers! Attached is a copy of this year's hare/hash schedule.  It's always good to stay current on these. Please save this copy for your records, as we have had some recent changes.

PS: Kia Ora is a widely used greeting in Māori, the indigenous language of New Zealand. Literally translated to "have life" or "be well", it generally means "hello", "hi", "welcome", or "goodbye".

DATE/TIME: Friday, June 5, 2026. Meet at 6:15, PACK OFF AT 6:30

MEETING PLACE: Creekside Elementary School, Durham -  5321 Ephesus Church Road, Durham, NC 27707

RSVP YOUR PIZZA: We are so grateful to be able to celebrate the start of our new adventure with our Tar Heels friends. We respect that it is not customary to RSVP to a Tar Heels hash but hope that you will all understand that we have a tight timeline and want to make sure that we have the right amount of kibble for all our friends. We kindly ask each hasher who plans to attend to fill out the form below and let us know your Brenz pizza preference in advance. Write ins are available and we will do our best to accommodate.

HOW TO GET THERE:

  • From I-40 - Take the 273 exit towards Chapel Hill and turn right onto Farrington Road. Follow west and turn left onto Ephesus Church Road. Make the next left into Creekside Elementary School and park toward the back of the lot

PARKING: There is plenty of parking at Creekside Elementary. Please park in the back, nearer to the woods. You will see us there with chairs.

WALKERS: Yes. There will be a sweeper.

DOGS: No, not this time.

WORDZ FROM DA HAREZ: Although we will be chasing the sunset, no torches needed for this tour de Durham event - unless you get lost. Please don't get lost. If you do, follow the light and scream loudly. Or bring a phone. Do plan for the typical hazards: water, ticks, mosquitoes, other itchy things, and handsy hashers.

WHAT TO BRING: Weather/critter appropriate clothing, a change of clothes and a chair for the on-after event.
