Greetings, Fellow hashers! Next Saturday, we are having our 697th hash in Chapel Hill: Southern Community Park. I will double-check the actual street address, and check with the hare about a couple more details. So - when this gets posted again, more details will be provided. But the information we have so far is a good start. Attached is a copy of our schedule as it stands now, to update your digital calendars - and the other ornamental ones on your walls.

DATE and TIME: Saturday June 27th, pack off at 5pm
MEETUP LOCATION: Southern Community Park, Chapel Hill, NC (The address I have now is 1000 Sumac Road)
HOW TO GET THERE: We always advise to use a favorite mapping tool. Giving elaborate directions is optional. After all, rumor has it that most folks own GPS’s these days.

Additional Tips:
Take the US-501 S/NC-86 N exit toward US-15 S/Chapel Hill/Pittsboro
Turn left onto NC-86 S/US-15 S/US-501 S 1.4 mi
Right on Sumac Rd 367 ft
Turn Left 115 ft
WORDZ FROM DA HAREZ: Trail will be A-to-A, with plenty of parking by "Southern Village" Community Park, and that area has water and bathrooms. There will be some neighborhood, some trail, some off-trail and other features. Turkey will be like 3.5-4 miles and the eagle will be like 5-6 unless people get lost which will add some distance.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
Please try to be prompt! We wait a while, but not for too long.
Bring a “B-Bag” (even though trail is A to A), with whatever extras needed, like repellent and sunscreen. And dry clothes for the On-After
