Greetings, Fellow hashers!

I received an email from Comfort a few days ago.  She and Tight Lips, members of both TH4 and SWH3, are hares for Sir Walter's hash this Saturday at 2pm.

The good news is: there is no time conflict between the Sir Walter's hash and our plans for the Durham Creek Week outing on the same day, since that takes place between 12 noon and 2pm.

So, in a couple of days, be on the lookout for a reminder about our volunteer outing - as an effort to celebrate, discover, and protect our local waterways. Durham Creek Week has been a longstanding local tradition -naturally!

Here are the details for the hash event just a couple of hours afterwards:

Great hashing opportunity Saturday March 14.

Join Sir Walter’s for a great hashing opportunity this Saturday!

Time: 2:00 for 2:30 start.

Location: Park at 2510 Meridian Parkway  (We have parked at 2500 in the past. That parking lot is very crowded now, so we’re using the next entrance.)

Hash Cash $5.

Hares: Comfort, Tight Lips

What to expect: Good trail, somewhat over 5 miles. (A shortcut available at one point.)

At least one, and probably more, sections of trail that have never been used before by SWH3 or  Tarheel.

Hash beer, water, snacks.

On after: optional. Brewery at 2500 Meridian Pkwy (faces Hwy 55.) Or go south just a little on Hwy 55, and there are many options.

Questions: contact Comfort 609-672-4884.
