Hi! Just wanted to update everyone on what has been planted. In the
first plot (closest to the entrance of the garden) There are turnips
in the back, salad greens and beets on the right side and radishes on
the left side. All were started from seeds, so they needs lots of
water!

The second bed was planted by Kitty and has tomatoes, squash and corn.

The third bed is full of peas! We will need to make bean poles for the
vines to climb up when the seeds sprout and start growing.

The fourth bed has nothing in the back closest to the wall, then
spinach and more beets.

The last 2 beds are still empty and hopefully after the gardening 101
class this Wednesday we can plan out what else we want to plant. Some
ideas are more leafy greens (kale, swiss chard etc.) and watermelon!
Also, radishes will be ready pretty soon and then we can fill in those
spots with more tomatoes and other summer vegetables.

If anyone doesn't want to be on this mailing list, you have to remove
yourself from the google group.

Thanks!

Jeralyn

Correction! The fourth bed from the wall to midway has spinach
planted. I started from the wall forward. Don't touch! Yum....

Hi. I would like to be removed from the email list. I no longer live in NY and I get maybe 10 emails an hour from this organization. Thanks
