Hi all,

Over a year ago I had http://mytardis.org/ registered with the intention of it being some sort of info resource / blog.

At the time I pointed it to a Monash MyTardis deployment (I had to point it somewhere!). But now I've installed Wordpress on a VM here and there's a skeleton of some content.

To my mind, if you come here you want:

- Basic info about what it is, how its helping people, and how to get involved

- What's been happening lately

So a blog front page and some page links looks like a good format to me. I've put a theme on that I customised a little, created some pages with content that I think should go in there (to fill out properly later) and an example blog entry.

This is meant to be by the MyTardis community for the community, so if you want to contribute, please sign up (I've put on an optional social media signup plugin to make it easy) and I'll give you posting / editing permissions.

Happy for feedback. It's only a start. Hoping it's not entirely the wrong direction.

I reckon once the pages are filled out with information then a small post every week or 2 until the end of the year from each group on what they're up to would be nice. People are often wondering what's going on around Australia re: MyTardis (actually, I'm talking to someone about Sweden's new synchrotron, too with MyTardis in mind..) so visibility is nice.

Hi Steve,

  Awesome. I'd jam the word "community" in the header somewhere, to make it a little bit clearer that this site is a blog, rather than the home of MyTardis (for docs, downloads etc).
