I'm not worried. It's a Java exploit and it's been patched.
To call this an epidemic and looming disaster - therefore stop buying Apple stuff is verging on the absurd. If I was worried about every vulnerability a computing device could possess, I'd be a plumber.
Anyway, the day is too good to be inside. :-)
