& JAPW - 1-9-04 - Collision Course
This was the first official
ROH show of 2004. The Battle Lines Are Drawn was ROH's first show solo
that year, but Collision Course was a supershow that took place the
night before and was co-promoted with Jersey All-Pro in Woodbridge, NJ.
This show featured some of the top talent competing in ROH and JAPW at
the time. Here's the match listing:
1. Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz
vs. The Ring Crew Express
2. Ruckus vs. Derek Wylde
3. Special
Mixed Tag Match: HC Loc & Johnny Kashmere vs. Tony Devito &
Trent Acid
4. Special K Scramble Match - I don't remember who teams
with who, but both teams are members of the Special K faction from ROH.
Needless to say, there is a lot of high flying in this match. I think
the teams have some combination of Jay Lethal, Deranged, Angeldust,
Izzy, and Dixie, plus a few other skinny, flippy dippy fake drug addicts
in wife beaters whose names I can't remember.
5. Shane Douglas vs.
Justin Credible
6. Sumie Sakai vs. April Hunter
7. ROH World Title
Match: Samoa Joe vs. Balls Mahoney - Don't sleep on this match; I
forgot how well Mahoney could wrestle until I saw this match. He does
strong style very well too.
8. JAPW Heavyweight Title Match: Danny
Maff vs. Slyck Wagner Brown - This, too, is a very good match for both
guys.
9. 4-Way Spectacular: AJ Styles vs. "Fallen Angel" Christopher
Daniels vs. CM Punk vs. John Walters
This show is actually pretty
