I mean, yeah, lol. It looks a lot better. Valderamma is still a tree lined hell. I'm sure @Kenny Bcould go around it just fine, but for me that course is the hardest test of Sim golf ever. I can't imagine trying to play the "Real" Valderrama. But the colors are more natural, the lighting and shading is much better. I'll have to test the physics of these new trees and see if my ball hits them. FSX2020 trees really are 90% air and you can often just hit through them as if they aren't really there. But then, sometimes a single blade of grass in the rough will act like Gandalf.

The RTX 3080 just squeezes in as the most budget conscious option for starting with 4K. At just 28 FPS, it gives the user a playable experiences with occasional performance dips that might pull a little bit from the immersion of the game. FSX Play does allow for some graphics setting tweaks (unlike some other options on the market) that allow the user to reduce the visual fidelity of the software to increase the framerate of the game. This does jump the average framerate above the 30 FPS mark, but it is at the cost of some visual eye candy -- subjectively, you may lose as much as you gain by going to the 4K resolution.

Those who have or will have an indoor hitting space in their house can benefit immensely. You can link the GC3 up to a computer or iPad and play famous courses around the world without leaving your house. Plus, in the off-season, you can get grinding on your swing with more data than has been available to you before.
Thank you for the review Harry. You mention several times about being able to use an iPad. I though that you have to have a pc to be able to use the Foresight software or play simulated courses. Can you confirm what you could see on your iPad? Was it just the range or was it simulated courses?

like i said i had the 2060 and on FSX Play it was choppy and for certain the 1660 will dissapoint as well I fear. As Kwettig has stated if you can swing it get the 3060 i have good play at 1080 on play and 2020.
