Hi all,

The next event in TechSoc is DesMod

 Find the details below.

Teams of max. 3

Venue: MSB 242/243

Time: 6-9 pm, Apr 15 & 16th (Tuesday & Wednesday)

Format: The Problem Statement will be given on the spot. A 3D CAD model and a ppt presentation should be prepared within the stipulated 3 hours and submitted. On wednesday, the teams are required to give a presentation of their design to the panel of judges.

The next event in the techsoc is Desmod.

DESMOD

Venue: MSB 242/243

Time:6-9 pm,15th April(Tuesday) and Wednesday

The challenge is to design a product keeping in mind its form and function, aesthetics and ergonomics with no compromise on its user-friendliness.The participants will be tested on engineering skills , creativity and intuition.

The event will be held in two rounds. The first round will be held on Tuesday where the participants will be given the problem statement and asked to design. The presentation will be held on Wednesday where the teams will have to present their design in front of the judges.

Each team(2-3 members) will have to bring their own laptops with proper software installed. Inter hostel teams are allowed.

I request not to push all the events just before endsems. So it is better if we have a good idea on what are the events happening and when will they happen.
