Hello all,

My name is Daniel Kielback, I am working for Sustainable Concordia and CSU this summer. I found a few companies that produce outdoor hydration stations which may be beneficial for any outdoor events that are occurring at the university throughout the future.  These machines connect to a water source with a hose and filter municipal water. They can be quite expensive $25,000 to purchase or $19,000 for a 2 year lease (Waterfillz and Event water solution). I am inquiring about another model that was created by the city of Toronto called H20 to go, (which I believe a better model) and will discover if it is possible to purchase or fabricate one.
I was wondering if it would be possible for several departments to collaborate on the purchase and/or fundraising to get something like this for our school. I think it would help hydrate people at outdoor events, promote our universities commitment to sustainability, and with space to advertise - promos for whomever helps initiate the project.
I am just testing the waters to see who might be interested in a project like this. Please reply to all if you have any interest or concerns.

Thank you

Hi,

My name is Abby Hildebrand and I, like Daniel, would be very interesting in finding out more about the H2O to Go truck that has been used in Toronto. I run a conference in Boston for about 1,200 participants and we have some outdoor activities for which access to water has been challenging. Does anyone know more about this system? Or have any other recommendations of ways to distribute water to that amount of people?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Best,
Abby
