I've been doing some initial testing and TapLynx is doing the right thing (i.e. screen sizes weren't hard coded) and the views are all stretching as we want.
If you do nothing, then your app will just have the black margins when run on an iPhone 5 (if I'm understanding correctly). If you update and add the tall Default image (in XCode there is now a new place for a Default image which needs to be 640x1136 and needs to be named Defaul...@2x.png) then the iPhone 5 and the iPhone5 simulator will stretch the app.
I did have to update my TA_MapKitPlugin on Github to adjust for this new size. I am testing my other plugins now, but my version of OOZWebView and CitizenReporter look fine. My AudioStreamer looks a little odd but functions correctly. I'll be updating that over the weekend.
So...my advice: if you are just using TapLynx then all you need to do is resubmit your app with a new Default image. If you have some plugins installed, then you need to check those.
